This summer, Artcurial returns to the Riviera, setting up at the iconic Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo from July 6th to 10th for the Monaco Auction Week. The event will feature an exclusive selection of Important Watches, Jewellery, Hermès & Luxury Bags, and the fifth edition of Monaco Sculptures. Additionally, this year, the Automobilia department will auction the collection of memorabilia from the legendaryStars‘N’Bars.

Artcurial’s Watches’ department offers an exceptional auction, featuring timeless pieces from Rolex, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Harry Winston in collaboration with Speake-Marin. Enthusiasts will appreciate complicated watches like the ref. 5050J with a perpetual calendar and the ref. 3969 with jumping hours. Exclusive series, such as the Tank Asymétrique reimagined for the Cartier Paris Private Collection in red gold, will also be available, delighting collectors of rare and original watches.
The Watches department will also pay tribute to the exceptional creativity of Piaget on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. An entire chapter will be dedicated to its inimitable style, characterized by the boldness and extravagance of the 1970s and the Piaget Society, embodied by Jackie Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, and Salvador Dalí.
A unique set in gold and lapis-lazuli, delivered to the Middle East in 1973, will be unveiled to collectors. Additionally, a charming Patek Philippe watch from 1977, Ref. 4399/1, will also be offered.

Another unmissable event during this Monaco Auction Week is the Jewelry sales sessions. The department has gathered the greatest names from Place Vendôme such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, and Chanel, as well as American jewelers like Seaman Schepps and European ones like Buccellati, Bulgari, and Nardi. They will offer exceptional pieces adorned with diamonds and colored gemstones.
The signature Alhambra necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels in white gold, as well as an exceptional platinum ring by Guillemin & Soulaine adorned with a 9.70-carat cushion-cut sapphire, will also be presented.
Collectible pieces from the greatest fashion houses of leather goods will be offered, including the Birkin 30 Himalaya, limited editions like the Birkin 25 from the Hermès × Nigel Peake collaboration, as well as classics such as the Kelly II 32 in black box leather.
Other reimagined signature models will also be presented at auction, such as the Capucine Mini bag from the Vuitton house, along with a selection of pieces in exotic leathers, showcasing the craftsmanship and continuous innovation of these exceptional houses.

The 5th edition of Monaco Sculptures started in Monaco, in partnership with the Société des Bains de Mer. This exhibition presents a selection of contemporary art pieces from global collections. Patrice Trigano's collection showcases works by César, including 'Fanny Fanny' from 1990 and 'Le sein,' as well as sculptures by Arman, Philippe Hiquily, Allen Jones, Berto Lardera, and Salvador Dalí.
Three pieces by Victor Vasarely from the Château de Vascœuil, and a 'Lasso' by Jean-Michel Othoniel from a French collection will also be presented. Additionally, sculptures by American artists David Smith and George Rickey from a Swiss collection will be part of the catalogue.
Artcurial Motorcars is organizing an auction dedicated to Stars’N’Bars on July 8th, an iconic institution in Monaco. Founded in 1993 by Didier Rubiolo and Kate Powers, this 'bar restaurant diner' concept has become a landmark where music, film, and sports stars mingle.
Racing suits and helmets, football, cycling, and tennis jerseys, photographs, autographs, as well as personal effects of Hollywood stars will be offered at auction. Over 200 lots, without reserve prices, will be up for sale to celebrate this legendary venue one last time.
