Monaco Auction Week Totals Nearly €10M

Held on July 7, 8, and 9, 2025 at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the Monaco Auction Week achieved nearly €10M. The prestigious auctions - Le Temps est Féminin, Important Watches, Jewellery, Hermès & Luxury Bags, and Monaco Sculptures - registered remarkable results for exceptional items by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Hermès, as well as artworks by Manolo Valdés and Claude Lalanne...

Among the standout pieces in the Important Watches auction, a legendary Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Paul Newman” Ref. 6240 fetched €249,280, while a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph sold for €154,816. 
Among the highlights of Le Temps est Féminin was a Piaget watch, Ref. 9831 H39 (circa 1978), which sold for €31,750.

During the Jewellery auction, a platinum Art Deco bracelet from the 1930s by Van Cleef & Arpels was sold for €249,280. The Jewellery auction reached over €3.5 million, confirming the strong interest of collectors in magnificent pieces by Mauboussin, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.

The Hermès & Luxury Bags sale featured a Hermès Kelly Retourné 25 Colormatic bag (2022), crafted from Swift calfskin leather in the colors Chai, Mata, Copper, Mist Blue, Lime, and Mauve. It achieved a final price of €17,712. This auction also included iconic models from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Dior.

Finally, the 7th edition of Monaco Sculptures drew strong interest, totaling over €4 million. Among the major works featured in this edition is the poetic bronze by Claude Lalanne, Caroline enceinte (1969–1979), sold for €734,720. Remarkable results were also Murano Head (2022) by Manolo Valdés, acquired for €458,440, and La Grande Rambaud (1989) by César, which was auctioned for €367,360.
