Save the date: Monaco Auction Week

From July 7th to 9th, 2025, Artcurial invites collectors of Jewellery, Watches, Luxury Handbags, and Modern & Contemporary Art to the heart of the Riviera, for the summer edition of Monaco Auction Week. Our prestige auctions, Le Temps est Féminin, Important Watches, Jewellery, Hermès & Luxury Bags, and Monaco Sculptures, will once again be held at the renowned Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

Public exhibitions for the Luxury departments will begin on July 6th at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, offering collectors an exclusive opportunity to discover exceptional jewels, timepieces, and handbags, selected by our specialists Valérie Goyer, Victoire Debreil, and Romain Marsot. Furthermore, the 6th edition of Monaco Sculptures has already begun, with Artcurial transforming the gardens and palaces of the Principality into an open-air artistic journey.

The auctions will start on July 7th with Le Temps est Féminin and Important Watches. Dedicated to women’s timepieces, Le Temps est Féminin will showcase elegant watches from the most renowned watchmakers: Cartier, Patek Philippe, and Rolex. Among the highlights: a precious Cartier “Tortue” in yellow gold, diamonds and pearls, and a sophisticated Rolex “Pearlmaster”, reference 80328.

The second sale, Important Watches, will feature a gorgeous selection of chronographs from Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Jaeger-LeCoultre. The catalogue will notably feature a rare Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Paul Newman”, reference 6240, with a stainless-steel case; an iconic Patek Philippe Nautilus, reference 3700; and a remarkable minute repeater pocket watch signed Arregui Madrid / Patek Philippe.

On July 8th, the Hermès & Luxury Bags auction will feature an exquisite selection of handbags from the iconic houses of Hermès, Chanel, and Christian Dior. Highlights include a Hermès Kelly Retourne 25 in Swift calfskin, and a limited-edition Lady Dior Mini from 2011, created in collaboration with contemporary artist Anselm Reyle.

On July 8th and 9th, the Jewellery department will present an elegant selection of exceptional jewels. Among the pieces to discover: a demi-parure signed Georges Lenfant for Van Cleef & Arpels, combining gold, platinum, and diamonds from the 1960s; a pendant necklace with a Colombian emerald of approximately 5.50cts ; and a superb platinum ring, set with a magnificent diamond (J color, SI1 clarity, faint fluorescence).

Finally, the 6th edition of Monaco Sculptures will be a must-attend event for collectors of Modern and Contemporary Art. On July 9, the auction will spotlight landmark sculptures from the 20th and 21st centuries. Among the standout artworks: La Grande Rambaud (1988) by César, Caroline enceinte by Claude Lalanne, Petite Flore nue (1911) by Aristide Maillol, and Murano Head (2022) by Manolo Valdés. A unique open-air exhibition, Monaco Sculptures transforms the gardens of the Principality into an elegant cultural promenade, on view until September 2025.
