- Powerful six-cylinder engine

- Elegant shade of ‘Primrose Yellow’

- 4,542 cars built

Full of promise, the bonnet with its distinctive bulge immediately identified the MG C and its powerful 2.9-litre six-cylinder engine producing nearly 150 bhp. With its servo-assisted brakes and overdrive gearbox, it proved an excellent choice for long journeys at high speed. Like many of the 4,542 cars built, this example was sold new in the United States. Its current owner bought it in 2019 from a specialist who told him that the car had been restored in 2012 and that more recently the following work had been done: the steering rack and tie rods had been replaced, the electrical system checked over and the brakes overhauled. Since then, a major service was carried out in 2021 by Classic Garage at a cost of nearly 3900 €. A minor brake service was again undertaken in 2024. In consistent overall condition, this ‘Primrose Yellow’ roadster with black leather upholstery and a matching restored hood will let you envisage long trips with the wind in your hair, its specifications enabling it to keep up easily with modern traffic.
