A 5L V12 engine producing 300 hp: that’s what the 850i offered when it was first released. These figures seemed fine on paper however, given the high weight of its luxury coupe, BMW entrusted the noble engine to Motorsport which then increased its capacity to 5.6L and 380 hp, characterising the CSI version offered from 1992.

This particular example was sold new by the BMW dealership in Ballerna on the 4th April 1995. Two other owners have benefited from the performance of this beautiful CSI, including the current owner. The car has always been serviced by the BMW network as evidenced by its service logbook, with regular services properly stamped. Its colour combination is highly desirable, in dark blue with beige interior in excellent condition.

The wealth of basic equipment is enhanced by an optional electric sunroof and tilt, electric heated seats with memory position and a passenger airbag.

Finally, it is fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car currently has a mileage of 151,250 km from new and its excellent condition is proven by the invoice file that is accompanied with the original documentation, including the logbook and a spare key. The tool kit is complete and the first aid kit stored in the rear central armrest is still present. With only 1,510 CSI versions produced, this coupe is a rare opportunity and will certainly see its value increase year after year.
