- Same owner for 25 years
- Almost €34,000 for the engine rebuild in 2024
- Serviced for regular usage
The Jaguar Heritage certificate for this elegant coupe states that it left the Coventry factory on the 16th December 1963, before being shipped to “Jaguar Cars” in New York, where it was received on the 24th January 1964. This valuable document also indicates that the car was originally “cream” with a black leather interior and still retains its original engine block. As a great enthusiast of this model, the current owner bought this example 25 years ago. Shortly after, the car was repainted in the elegant British Racing Green colour, which it initially had; the Moss gearbox was fully restored at Classic Garage and the electrical wiring was renewed. This beautiful Jaguar was then regularly used and serviced. In 2018, the red leather upholstery was redone and in 2024, it had a complete engine rebuild (again at Classic Garage) as evidenced by an invoice of almost €34,000. An old-fashioned Bluetooth car radio was also installed at the time and all four tyres were replaced. We were able to appreciate the quality of the bodywork alignment on this example, which has a discreet patina. The engine provides a great deal of pleasure, starting at the first attempt and running perfectly. By driving this E-Type accompanied by an expert report from 2024, it is clear that its owner serviced it meticulously so it could be used in the best possible way.
