- Sold new in France
- 2nd hand, same owner for 42 years
- Healthy and well serviced
As evidenced by its importation plate, this Montreal was sold new in France and was registered on the 12th December 1975. As a collector and great lover of beautiful automobiles, its current owner acquired it in November 1982 from its first owner who lived in Haute-Garonne. An inspection report from 1984 indicated that the bodywork (in very good original condition) had just been repainted, the upholstery was redone with original fabric and a mechanical service was carried out. Since then, the car was carefully used, stored in a dry place and regularly serviced at Alfa Romeo, as confirmed by the seller and as evidenced by numerous invoices.
In 1998, it was repainted and mechanical work included the replacement of the clutch, change of cylinder head gaskets, installation of a modern fuel pump and the refurbishment of the steering box. The braking system was improved, Koni shock absorbers fitted and tyres recently replaced. With a very pleasant driving experience, this Montreal demonstrates the qualities of a car that has never been fully dismantled but instead, carefully taken care of over the years. What makes it a real registered concept car are the numerous original aesthetic details that will undoubtedly convince you of its worth.
