- In the same collection for 51 years !
- Highly reliable model
- Restored to its original condition
- No reserve
With a robust 2.3L 4-cylinder engine, its elegant appearance and its posh interior, the 864 matches precisely with the slogan chosen by Hotchkiss: “The happy medium car”. As a great enthusiast of the brand, Andre Trigano acquired this example in Cher in April 1973! This saloon (Artois model) has had a restoration to its original condition with a repaint in black colour and edging which matched the red rims. Bodywork joints have been changed and the cloth upholstery has also been restored. Tyres will need to be replaced and we’ve noticed an old trace of repair on the engine block. With its typical design and appearance prior to the Second World War and after some care, this car will enable its new owner to embark on a journey back in time.
Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
Please note that the car does not come with door keys.
