Lancé en 1998, le modèle 5070 signe le grand retour du remontage manuel mécanique dans les collections Patek Philippe depuis l’abandon de la référence 1463 à la fin des années 1960. Après avoir manufacturé des chronographes automatiques pendant plus de 30 ans, la manufacture genevoise fait sensation en proposant un garde temps à nouveau équipé d’un mouvement mécanique. 

Launched in 1998, the reference 5070 marks the grand return of manual mechanical winding to the Patek Philippe collections since the ref. 1463 was discontinued at the end of the 1960s. After manufacturing automatic chronographs for more than 30 years, the Geneva manufacturer is creating a sensation by offering a timekeeper once again equipped with a mechanical movement.
