- Rare AMG version!
- Less than 48,300 km from new, regularly maintained
- Plethora of optional equipment
- No reserve
This magnificent long-wheelbase Mercedes S600, the company’s flagship model with its V12 engine, left the factory in 1996, as the pre-delivery inspection stamp in its service book confirms. An embassy car until 2010, it has a staggering number of options: telephones, VHS video system, Blaupunkt radio and GPS system, CD changer, rear fridge, cruise control set at 30 km/h for use in parades, flag holders on the wings, bullet-proof glass, electrically-operated folding tables and rear curtains. In addition, it is a rare and desirable AMG version, with special sill plates, instrument dials, steering wheel and alloy wheels, as well as a tuned engine, as the AMG logo on it would seem to indicate. Purchased in 2010 by the current owner’s uncle, this S600 L AMG has a file of bills showing the service work carried out in the dealer network since 2003, with the period from 1996–2003 covered in the stamped-up service book. The last service was in August 2025 at 48,123 km, with the odometer reading just 48,224 km when we inspected the car. It comes with three sets of keys and its books. In very well preserved original condition, this exceptional S600 L AMG is a true palace on wheels; its low mileage and extensive optional equipment make it a choice item for any collector.
