This 356 A T1 underwent a major restoration in 2017. It was carried out for the specialist Serge Heitz who sold the car to the current owner. This 356 is in superb condition, both mechanically and in terms of the upholstery and bodywork. As evidenced by an inspection report conducted after the restoration, the mechanical part was fully redone, which included a prepared engine, gearbox and running gear too.

To highlight the sporty character of the prepared engine, a custom stainless steel exhaust with central exit provides the sound. The electrical system, shock absorbers and brakes were replaced by new elements. Body panels were stripped down and the substructure was fully restored and protected against corrosion. This bodywork is finished in a stunning red colour highlighting the chrome.

To accentuate its sporty appearance, this 356 features GT elements, including the streamlined, cased rearview mirror, the fuel cap (large capacity) in the middle of the front bonnet and louvers of the engine bonnet; The magnesium rims complete the look. The fully restored interior is bathed in light thanks to the sunroof, with beige leather and velvet upholstery covering the bucket seats. The 3-spoke wooden steering wheel completes the look.

An expert report from January 2018 described this 356 as an example which has had a high-quality restoration carried out and valued it at €280,000. It has barely been used since then and is therefore in a condition close to its latest restoration. This represents a unique opportunity to acquire a 356 restored to the highest standards, with several enhancements that increase both the driving pleasure and the aesthetic appeal of this model.
