- Almost-new condition, 13,600 km from new
- Only two owners since new
- Extremely rare in its European version
This stunning Bentley Continental is exceptional in many ways. Firstly, it is an extremely rare European version in left-hand drive, delivered new in 1988 by Bentley Monaco. Another rarity is the fact that it has an ultra-low mileage with only 13,600 km since new; its condition is therefore exceptional and the car drives as if it were almost new.
Its first owner was an African ambassador with a second residence in Cannes. It was in “Light Oyster” colour with “Parchemin” upholstery, which of course is still the same combination to date. Used on rare occasions, it was later entrusted once again to Bentley Monaco for resale and in January 2001, its current owner acquired it when the mileage was only at 8,600 km. It is therefore a second-hand car.
Since then, it has barely been driven and therefore only displays 13,600 km from new on the odometer. Serviced at Bentley Brussels and stored in a heated garage, it comes with all its original logbooks and manuals. It is presented in a truly exceptional condition, almost new, with a magnificent original paint, perfectly preserved upholstery, as well as impeccable and fresh carpets.
As the alter ego of the Rolls-Royce Corniche, the Bentley Continental represented the absolute top-tier model of the brand from Crewe. Boasting extremely high build quality and fitted with the 6.75-litre V8 fuel-injected engine, it was one of the most expensive cars on the market and only around 189 examples were produced (left-hand and right-hand drive combined, manufactured between 1985 and 1989). In this European left-hand drive configuration, there are probably no more than 25 examples, approximately. With only two owners from new, its ultra-low mileage, its harmonious colour scheme and its overall condition, this particular car is a rare opportunity.
