- 286bhp V8 !
- 135,693km
- Nearly 38 000€ in bills from 2019–2023
- No reserve
With its 6.9-litre V8 developing 286bhp, the 450 SEL 6.9 was one of the fastest saloons of its time and was particularly appreciated by racing drivers. With 7380 cars built, it remains to this day an exceptional machine, combining high performance and superior comfort.
First registered on 25 May 1975, this example is finished in Astral Silver metallic and has a dark blue velour interior with matching carpets. Purchased by its previous owner in 2019, the car has since had much work carried out by the Atelier 600, with detailed bills in its file for the steering geometry, five new Michelin XWX tyres in 2022, reconditioning the suspension spheres and struts, rebuilding the radiator, work on the braking system and air-conditioning, and repairing the exhaust in 2023. With 135,693km now on the clock, it is an attractive original car, which has been repainted and has had recent maintenance work. It comes with a Becker Mexico radio, two sets of keys and even its original first-aid kit. Nearly 300bhp in the comfort of your living room, in a saloon from the 1970s ... This is an opportunity which rarely comes along !
Please note that the key switch needs to be checked, as it no longer cuts the ignition.
