A particularly sought-after limited edition launched in June 1992, the British Open Classic featured a large fabric sunroof, a 1,275 cc engine and a special finish. With its exceptional classy look, it then became part of the range until 1996. This particular example is part of the first series, still fitted with its carburettor engine and registered on 23rd November 1993. The history of roadworthiness inspections since February 1999 (when the car had just over 23,000 km on the clock) shows a consistent increase in mileage up to the 53,039 km reported at the time of our inspection. The car has had extensive work carried out since 2011, the year it was purchased by the current owner’s father (more info included in the file). It has been fitted with a kit enabling the ride height to be adjusted. In January 2025, four new Michelin XZX tyres were fitted, the oil was changed, as well as spark plugs and battery which were replaced. In a well-preserved condition consistent with its mileage, this charming Mini offers an experience in a unique vehicle that is a real pleasure to drive, particularly in the summer months.
