Created by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, the 8C reconciles the Italian marque with its style and panache. With a superb shape reminiscent of the Alfa 33 Stradale, it conceals a Ferrari-sourced 4.7-litre V8 engine which, coupled with an automatic six-speed gearbox, delivers supercar performance. The success of the model was such that total of 500 units initially planned was immediately surpassed.
What sets the car we are presenting apart is that it was purchased new by its current owner, a keen collector and genuine enthusiast. Already the owner of an Alfa Romeo TZ with which he took part in the Tour Auto and various rallies, when he discovered the 8C at the 2006 Paris Motor Show he didn't hesitate to order it for even a second. Seduced by its architecture, which is based on the same principles as his '63 TZ, he managed to place an order for it, despite not being on the list of pre-registered buyers. His order specified a Competizione Red colour with full-grain black leather upholstery and micro-perforations. Two years later, in June 2008, the owner took delivery from Établissements Pozzi. This car, which has never been damaged or mishandled, has since been maintained by Pozzi. It has just 15,000 km on the clock and has always been kept in the heated garage on his Normandy estate. He uses it for short drives only, as he is accustomed to preserving fine mechanical parts. Today, it is in remarkable condition, with all its original paintwork. It is accompanied by all its original papers, including its service booklet, owner's manual, tools, manuals and spare keys.
Please note that the car is sold without the French technical inspection.
