- Only one owner from 1971–2012
- 29,264km from new
- Original order form and sales invoice
- No reserve
This 504 coupé with the two-litre fuel-injected engine and a manual gearbox is simply exceptional. It was purchased new on 28 January 1971 by a sales agent for Peugeot bicycles in the Haute-Savoie from the dealer in Annecy, as can be seen from the original order form and sales invoice. Ordered in ‘Blanc Arosa’ with a brown cloth interior, its first owner kept it until 2012! The service file for the car shows the progression of its mileage up to the 29,264km on the odometer at the time of our inspection, a reading borne out by the car’s condition. The bodywork is very sound with well-aligned panels, and the underbody is in unusually good condition; it has been repainted in its original colour, while the original upholstery has been retained. The attractive dashboard with round dials, which disappeared on the later models, should also be noted. Shod with Michelin tyres from 2017 in virtually new condition, this superb coupé comes with its original certificate of conformity, service books and owner’s manual. Like any carefully preserved car, it even has the box of spare bulbs specific to the model in the glove box and the blanking plate which has been removed to fit a Philips radio/cassette player. It is undoubtedly one of the finest original examples on the market.
