Cette Giulietta Alleggerita fut produite le 12 juin 1956 et livrée le 25 juin de la même année, dans la région de Gênes, elle était alors Bianco Spagna. D’après le Libretto italien accompagnant la voiture, en 1965 elle appartient à un certain Rebecchi Guerrino, puis en 1996 à Edoardo Bonanomi. Elle est ensuite cédée à un marchand italien de la région de Brescia en 2018 qui la vendra quelques mois plus tard à notre collectionneur qui cherchait ce modèle depuis des années.

La voiture présente aujourd’hui un état patiné charmant. Il est à noter que les contre-portes, l’accastillage, le vitrage, les sièges et les ouvrants semblent bien correspondre à la désirable version Alleggerita. Elle est aujourd’hui équipée d’un moteur du bon type 1315, alimenté par deux carburateurs Weber 40DCO3. Le bloc moteur numéro AR1315*30102* d’origine accompagne la voiture, il présente une réparation sur le flanc du bloc. D’après le Certificato Di Origine délivré par Alfa Romeo, ce dernier numéro de moteur correspond bien à celui monté à l’usine dans la voiture.

Aujourd’hui présentée avec une jolie patine, ayant toujours toutes les spécificités propres à cette rare version, cette Veloce Alleggerita représente le Graal des alfistes. Sportive bien née, l’Alleggerita est définitivement la variante la plus désirable de la série Giulietta. Sa rareté et son éligibilité aux Mille Miglia lui confèrent un intérêt supplémentaire pour les amateurs souhaitant participer à l’événement en se démarquant.

This Giulietta Alleggerita was built on 12 June 1956 and delivered on 25 June that year, in the Genoa area; at the time, it was finished in Bianco Spagna. According to the Italian ‘libretto’ with the car, in 1965 it belonged to a Rebecchi Guerrino, and then in 1996 to Edoardo Bonanomi. In 2018, it was sold to an Italian dealer in the Brescia area, who sold it a few months later to our client, who had been looking for this model for many years. 

 

Today, the car has a charming patina. It should be noted that the door cards, trim, glass, seats and opening panels appear to match the desirable Alleggerita version. It is fitted today with an engine of the correct 1315 type, with twin Weber 40DCO3 carburettors. The original engine block, no. AR1315*30102*, is supplied with the car and the side of it has been repaired. According to the ‘certificato di origine’ issued by Alfa Romeo, the latter number corresponds to the engine fitted to the car at the factory. 

 

With an attractive patina today, and still possessing all the features specific to this rare model, this Veloce Alleggerita represents the Holy Grail for Alfa enthusiasts. A well-bred sports car, the Alleggerita is unequivocally the most desirable model in the Giulietta range. Its rarity and eligibility for the Mille Miglia add to its interest for enthusiasts looking to stand out when taking part in this event.
